A beautifully polished Cobalt Blue Fiber Eye cabochon (10x14 mm) set in a heart-shaped necklace. Fiber eye is made from fiber-optic glass, and It polishes flawlessly. Iridescent shimmers shine through it when it is rotated in the light. While most is oriented to shimmer vertically, a few shimmer horizontally. Although fiber eye is man-made, it comes in rock form. Gary cuts it into slabs, then grinds and polishes it, one cabochon at a time, just as he does with any other stone.
